Selling your home in Boca Raton, Florida? Here's a Recipe for Success!

                                                                                                                      chef in recipe box

If you're planning on selling your home in Boca Raton, FL you'll want to make sure you have these ingredients at hand BEFORE you place that For Sale sign in your yard.

Just as you wouldn't begin to make the perfect cake without gathering your ingredients and having a recipe to follow, if you have any plans to sell your house, you'll want to follow this recipe for success to sell your house in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL INGREDIENTS:

1. Seller's Motivation:
This is the base of your recipe, for if you are not motivated to sell, your "cake" will flop.  This means viewing your home now as a commodity to be marketed.  Are you willing to do the necessary repairs, updates, or STAGING to ensure that your house appeals to as many Buyers as possible? Are you aware of the prevailing market value of homes in your area or are you just wanting to "put out feelers"?  A Motivated Seller does not have to mean a Desperate Seller.

2. Stager's Creativity:

Once you have decided that you want to sell your house, this ingredient will help you with the presentation of your product.  You will want to make sure your home is the one that stands out in the competition.  Staging or Home Styling Professionals will use their experience and creativity to help show your home's full potential.   A basic consultation will provide detailed instructions and ideas tailored specifically for your home that you can follow if you are a DIY Seller, or the Home Staging Team can do the work for you.  If your home is unoccupied and vacant, we can provide an assessment of what is needed, lease the necessary inventory and set it up for you.

3.Realtor's Knowledge:

What is a competitive List Price, how should your home be marketed,  what kind of inspections will I need?  These are just some of the questions your professional Realtor can answer.  And if you are considering a short sale or facing foreclosure you will want a Realtor who can guide you through the process.    A Professional Realtor will anticipate issues that could derail your sale or closing and make sure they are addressed.  Having your home on the market and preparing to move is hard enough.  Why wouldn't you entrust it to a professional.

Remember:
   Seller's Motivation  +
                       Stager's Creativity +
Realtor's Knowledge =  The Recipe for a Successful Home Sale

Cute analogy, but so true, you "Knead" all of those ingredients together for a "Sold" sign!

So true -- all three ingredients must come together to achieve the desired result and I'm glad you pointed out the responsibilities of each party involved.  As you said, it all starts with a motivated seller!
